Winter’s coming, winter’s coming tonight
winter’s coming, say hello to the light
winter’s coming, weaving life underground
winter’s coming, synthesize all around

winter has a way of calling all to rest
babies fall asleep against their mother’s chest
cabinets are filled to brim with autumn’s harvest best
winter calls us to ancestral fires as others tell the tales from our past

Winter’s coming, winter’s coming tonight
winter’s coming, say hello to the light
winter’s coming, weaving life underground
winter’s coming, synthesize all around

aubrey spokes around temple keeping time
orders a regular saturnalia at unite
midnight sun prolong  across the polar night
casting shadows down on the frozen ground on this golden bough on the middle of yuletide

Winter’s coming, winter’s coming tonight
winter’s coming, say hello to the light
winter’s coming, weaving life underground
winter’s coming, synthesize all around

Now I speak about what I’ve come here to do
cast a winter winter rises all to bloom
capture a cresent moon for self inflicted wounds
rise from my bed of fear and disappear behind the world where life brings all to winter winter winter
